Dr. Anat koplowitz-Breier teaches at the Comparative Literature-World Literature Department at Bar-Ilan University. She wrote her M.A. Thesis on the subject The Women of the Nibelungenlied – Presented and Represented and her Ph.D Thesis on the subject A Woman’s Charm in Le Morte Darthur – Two Models of Women in the Work of Sir Thomas Malory. After publishing several articles concerning medieval literature she decided to return to her old love: modern poetry. Her research concerns German modern poetry (especially by Jewish authors) and the interdisciplinary relations between modern poetry and the Bible.
